Allah loves all of His creation, but He loves some people more than others. In the Quran, Allah tells us about the qualities that He loves in His servants.

The Quranic verses about Allah's love

  • "And Allah loves those who are humble." (Quran 49:13)
  • "And Allah loves those who turn to Him in repentance." (Quran 2:222)

  • "And Allah loves those who give, whether they are in hardship or in ease, and those who restrain their anger and forgive people. And Allah loves the doers of good." (Quran 3:134-135)

The hadith about Allah's love

The Prophet Muhammad also said many things about who Allah loves. For example, he said:

"Allah loves the one who is humble and kind." (Bukhari) "Allah loves the one who is generous and helps others." (Muslim) "Allah loves the one who is patient and forgiving." (Tirmidhi) "Allah loves the one who is truthful and trustworthy." (Abu Dawud) "Allah loves the one who strives in His way and does not give up." (Ibn Majah)

What does it mean to be loved by Allah?

Being loved by Allah is a great blessing. It means that we are on the right path and that we are doing things that please Him. It also means that we will be rewarded in the afterlife.

There are many things that we can do to earn Allah's love. We can pray regularly, give charity, fast during Ramadan, and read the Quran. We can also be kind to others, forgive those who wrong us, and help those in need.

If we do these things, we will be on the path to earning Allah's love. And when we are loved by Allah, we will have everything we need in this life and the next.
